The generating intention of the design of Outpost Lodge is to create spaces that give the guest an extremely intense experience of the natural environment, using minimal construction. The traditional approach to the design of a bush lodge, using tents or stone and reeds to make enclosed rooms, has been set aside in favour of a minimalist design with industrial elements.
