sharpCITY, a collective of young architects based in Johannesburg, has over the past few years produced a number of international exhibitions, competition entries, articles and lectures on Johannesburg. sharpCITY is fascinated by cities and how Johannesburg as South Africa's largest conurbation, has been and is continually changing along the expediencies of politics, economics and social issues. Recently sharpCITY's scope of work has broadened to projects in other cities in South Africa.
